Marty has owned and held senior level positions in the technology and hospitality industries prior to becoming the founding partner of Evolve Business Group Inc. Marty brings fourteen years of strategic management experience, sales and business coaching to the Evolve team.

As an Action International* business coach, Marty was awarded the 2002 Business Coach of the Year for North America at an international conference in New Zealand. Marty also received the National Award for the Coach of the Year two months later. Most recently Marty received the 2003 Award for Global Contribution to Action and the coaching profession. He is recognized internationally for his work developing both business coaches and their practices around the world, including Australia, The United States, The United Kingdom, Ireland and Spain. In addition to international recognition, Marty has been selected as one of Calgary's Top 40 Business Professionals under 40 in 2004 by Calgary Inc. magazine. Most recently, Marty was awarded the CYBF Canadian Mentor of the Year for 2005 in Toronto at their annual gala dinner.

The co-owner and operator of six successful businesses, Marty is currently involved in operations in Calgary and also the United States. He has been involved in all phases of start-up, including corporate strategy, sales and marketing, and financial operations.

Marty is currently the owner of two successful Calgary restaurants, called San Remo Ristorante, started in 2001 and expanding to a third location in 2007. In 2004, Marty also launched Skillset Systems which delivers online assessment tools for the performance of people. In 2005, Marty purchased and is now operating a master franchise business in New York State.

An experienced project manager, Marty developed and implemented large-scale business processes and executive level initiatives on an international scale, throughout North America and Europe. Small and medium business has always been an interest and passion of Marty's and he has returned to this market with his coaching services.
