Ray Williams


Ray Williams is Executive Vice-President, and Principal, Premier Career Management Group (PCMG), Vancouver’s premier career management and executive development company Ray brings a unique and powerful combination of knowledge and training as an educator and trainer along with extensive experience as a senior executive in both the public and private sectors.

Ray received his undergraduate and graduate degrees from U.B.C. in English and Psychology. He has been a Secondary School Principal, Director of Human Resources and Superintendent of Schools and CEO, for several large school districts in B.C. He is a certified mediator (B.C. Justice Institute), Certified Management Consultant and Certified International Executive Coach.

Ray is active in many leadership capacities. He is President of the International Coach Federation, Vancouver, and Vice President of the North Shore Neighborhood House, a community service organization. He is a sought-after author and speaker who has written two novels, one book on leadership and numerous articles on management and leadership. He has been a featured speaker for numerous business and professional organizations and other venues. Ray is a regular columnist for the National Post. His column, Executive View, features articles about leadership, career management, teamwork and organizational development.

Ray has numerous testimonials about the dynamic, thoroughly professional and extremely practical advice and training he has provided for leaders in the non-profit and private sector. He has received an award as one of the top education executives in North America, and served on numerous professional boards in a leadership capacity.

Ray was born in Hong Kong and has lived there, Singapore, Australia, Mexico, the U.K. and Canada, which has afforded him a breadth and depth of experience of diverse cultures, which he finds invaluable in his consulting work.

Ray has been married for over 35 years. He and his wife, Diane, have four sons and live in North Vancouver.
